SIR RICHARD OWEN

It has been suggested by some authors that the portrayal of Owen as a vindictive and treacherous man may be somewhat undeserved.

Moderate drinking, which is defined as one to three drinks per day, is associated with the lowest mortality rates in alcohol studies. Moderate alcohol use (especially when the beverage of choice is red wine) is thought to improve heart health, circulation and sociability, which can be important because people who are isolated don't have as many family members and friends who can notice and help treat health problems.

the new study provides the strongest evidence yet that moderate drinking is not only fun but good for you. So make mine a double.

I quit drinking about 15 years ago. No wonder I'm falling apart. Maybe I should reconsider...

My adice to you is to return to drinking heavily then.

After looking at that "after" picture, that's what I'm gonna go do now that work is done for the day.

Who can afford to drink these days?

However, it sounds like a grand idea to me-- ;-)

Your Lordship, become a beerviner and learn from the monks of the Middle Ages who had their most joyful days during Lent when they produced strong beer.

An apple, a tomato and two pints of Lager (or one pint of strong ale) a day ...

.... keep the doctor away.

Certainly, your Lordship - even frijoles and jalapenos will do the trick, and garlic chases off the vampires.

Live a long life, Sir Richard.
